Vegan Pesto

This pesto is super, super easy, and complements more dishes than I can count. It’s delicious on pizza, a sandwich, or as a yummy spread with crackers.


  • 1 t minced garlic
  • 3 cups kale (I use curly and haven’t tried others, but they could probably work)
  • 2 t freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup raw almonds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 t nutritional yeast
  • a few fresh basil leaves

Add everything to a food processor, and blend. Seriously, that’s it! It’s easy, full of healthy fats, and DELICIOUS!
